GCIC slams the continuous Anti Christian Bigotry in Karnataka

On 26th May, the grotto of Mother Rosario was damaged in Majalubettu in Pilar village, within the jurisdiction of Shirva police station Udupi.
The left and right hands of the statue in the grotto as well as the protective glass covering had been shattered in the incident
GCIC states that in spite of all the reassurance of protection given by the State Administration, Christian Places of Worship continue to be Desecrated and Damaged.

Christian prayer hall demolished by officials

Rameswaram (TN) May 28 (PTI) A Christian prayer hall, allegedly built in violation of government rules, was today demolished by revenue department at Dhanushkodi area near here, officials said. The government had banned new constructions after tidal waves lashed the area in 1964. Pr Joshi is pasturing the church and has about 600 families.
Besides, strict rules banning construction near the sea was enforced after the 2004 Tsunami, they said. A church official is being questioned in connection with the construction, they said.

Persecution in Nepal

He serves the Lord also in Nepal & is instrumental in forming an Assembly at Bandarjhula, Chitwan (Nepal) by the name Shalom Christian Mandali. Every Friday he goes to Nepal & conducts a Bible Study & stays overnight for the Saturday worship service (Nepali believers meet every Saturday for worship instead of Sundays).

Karnataka DGP says attack not aimed at Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

BANGALORE: A day after a firing incident in the ashram of spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, police on Monday termed it as an "incident" and said it was not a "targeted attack" on him. The security of 54-year-old Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of Art of Living (AOL), has been beefed up, they said.
“I do not call it an attack. It is an incident. Whether it was meant at a person or not, we cannot say at the moment", Karnataka DGP Ajaikumar Singh, who visited the ashram, told reporters here.
