Christian Fast-Prayer Meet Attacked In Chhattisgarh Village
New Delhi: Alleged rightwing Hindu radicals on December 6 attacked a group of Christians who were on fast and prayer at a village in central-eastern India.

The attack occurred at Tarra, a village near Ranjim, a town in the Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh state in central India.


Pastor Gigi P Paul arrested in Chattisgragh

Pastor Gigi P Paul President of Faith Gospel Mission, Principal Faith Bible Training Center, Director of Faith Child Development Center and the State President of IPC CG State was arrested on 22nd June.

Pastor Jigi Paul was born up and brought up at Pathanamthitta district Kerala, India. Then he went to Bible school for my theology study. When he was in Bible school God give me a vision for North Indian ministry. so after my study he came in North India. Since 1991 he is working in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh state.


Non-Hindu people banned entry in Bastar(Sirisguda gram sabha)

Raipur: A village body (gram sabha) in Chhattisgarh’s tribal-dominated Bastar district has allegedly adopted a resolution barring entry of non-Hindu people.

The resolution, allegedly passed at a special meeting of Sirisguda gram sabha recently, apprehended that entry of other religions would undermine the tribal culture and religion. The village meeting alleged that people of a particular minority community were dissuading locals to resort to local religious practices, posing a threat to tribal culture and traditions.
