Unity and Cooperation Among Various Christian Church Denominations Essential'

CSI Moderator Rev G Devasirvadom has said that unity and cooperation among various Christian Churches is vital in a diverse world where people fight each other.Delivering the keynote address at the ecumenical meeting as part of the 119th Maramon Convention on the fourth day on Wednesday, he said that the Church denominations should come together for the restoration of peace and happiness among the people.

The Latin rite Catholics in Kerala are planning a rally in state capital Thiruvananthapuram on Feb. 28 to highlight issues affecting the community, leaders said.Some 100,000 people are expected for the "Latheen Samudaya Maha Sangamom," which is organized under the aegis of the Kerala Region Latin Catholic Council (KRLCC), the Trivandrum Latin Archdiocese officials said.

Catholic Nun Mercina attacked in Parur,Kerala

Today(Friday) morning 6.15 . Sr. Mersina from sisters of Sacred Bhavan(Pratheeksha Bhavan) was accosted by a biker while she was on her way to attend holy Mass ,in the cover of darkness.The bike bound attacker abused and dragged the nun for a distance and after a while she collapsed and fell on the road.
Hearing, loud cries of the nun other sisters and bystanders came to her rescue.
