Most hated Indian Christians of the year-Vishal Mangslwadi

MOST HATED INDIAN CHRISTIAN OF THE YEAR

No poll has been taken to award the “Most Hated” honour to an Indian Christian. If the selection was based on social media, the choice may narrow down to:
Bishop R. B. Lal
Bishop K. P. Yohanan
Bishop Joseph D’Souza, and
Vishal Mangalwadi.

The three of them are facing jail terms on serious charges of corruption. I am hated for asking my Face Book friends to rebuild the church brand as ‘A Religious Community with Zero Tolerance for Corruption’.

Home to the world’s second-largest population, the country fared poorly on the Global Hunger Index (GHI, pdf) for 2017 released by the Washington-based International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) on Thursday (Oct. 12). India ranked 100 out of 119 countries on the GHI, worse than last year’s position of 97 out of 118. A lower ranking is indicative of a higher rate of malnutrition and hunger.
