I come from the same people group as the Buddha -- the Sakyamuni. Therefore, I’m flattered that the Buddha has become one of the most honoured faces in Germany. One can see his statue in almost every second shop. Buddhism has demolished the West’s “Age of Reason.” That is, it has buried the Enlightenment’s confidence that human intellect (logic and physical senses) is sufficient to lead us to truth. We do not need revelation.

Several Dalits to convert to Buddhism - mark 54th anniversary of Ambedkarji's similar act
