GCIC deplores the Gruesome murder of Catholic Priest Rector, St Peter's Seminary murdered on Easter


GCIC is shocked and deeply saddened by the brutal murder of Very Rev. Fr. K.J. Thomas, Rector of St. Peter’s Pontifical Seminary, Bangalore in the early hours of 1st April.

The attackers killed Fr. K.J. Thomas hitting him in the face and head with a brick. Motive and identity of the killers still unknown.

Angelican reverend murdered yesterday in Odisha, villagers killed the murderer!

Bhubaneswar : Last Sunday (09.10.2011) at about 0730 PM in a village called Bada Raksi, Banaigarh Block, P.S: K. Balang of Sundergarh District of Odisha State. Rev.Jiban Masi Munda(70), a CNI Church presbyter while reading the Holy book in the veranda of his residence, was killed by one Manamasi Tappo(35) of the same village. He came with his Bow and Arrow and without telling anything to anybody, aimed at the innocent priest and brutally murdered him by the same Arrow. But just after this ghastly incident, when the said priest cried loudly with severe pain, fell down and died there on the spot
