Planned terrorism cannot be taken lightly as Islamic militancy poses a threat to all mankind.Global Council of Indian Christians(GCIC) urges christians to come out of political correctness to address this challenge.Middle east genocide against christians should open eyes of the christian leaders.."Salafism" in India is directly connected with terrorism,according to reports emanating from various quarters.GCIC had attempted to raise this after hand chopping of Prof. T. Media reports that terrorists connected to the so-called Islamic State(IS) plan to target Syrian Christians in Kerala is causing concerns for religious leaders in the southern Indian state.The Times of India daily recently reported that Kerala police have busted an IS-inspired cell.Interrogations reportedly revealed that the Islamic militant outfit was targeting churches and institutions run by "a denomination of Christians of Syrian lineage.".The report did not specify the denomination, but said they were targeted because their ancestors had killed Muslims during the historical crusades.

The NIA(National Investigation Agency) said the accused were inspired by the IS and had assembled at a hilltop in Kannur to plan attacks against key politicians in Kerala and TN.
Six men, part of an Islamic State (IS)-inspired group, who were arrested from Kerala on October 2, have told their interrogators that though they closely followed controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik and another Kerala-based preacher, M.M Akbar, their speeches did not have much influence on them.

Love Jihad-Kerala woman’s conversion: Kalyan resident arrested in joint operation

The Kerala police in a joint operation with the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Friday night arrested Kalyan resident Rizwan Khan in connection with the alleged forced conversion of a Kerala woman to Islam. Khan was produced in court on Saturday, and the Kerala police were granted his transit remand till Monday.Officials said he runs a marriage bureau in south Mumbai. Khan came under the police scanner after his name emerged in the investigations into the alleged conversion of Merin Jacob alias Miriam, who was forced by her husband Bestin Vincent alias Yahya, himself a convert to Islam. Miriam’s conversion is alleged to have occurred through Arshid Qureshi, a guest relations officer with Islamist preacher Zakir Naik’s Islamic Research Organisation.“Qureshi’s interrogation revealed that the conversion and a subsequent nikaah between Miriam and Yahya, was conducted by Khan. His signatures were present on their marriage certificate,” said an ATS official.
