Kashmir| Govt files FIR against pastor Khanna for blaspemy

To prevent worsening of law and order situation in the wake of alleged blasphemous depictions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on social networking site Facebook and alleged conversion by Christian missionaries, government has lodged an FIR against incharge Churches in Kashmir, CM Khanna.

Police in India’s Kashmir Valley arrested Pastor Khanna at 5.30pm and searched All saints church and the presbytery. Christian workers were also arrested.According to one source the team came to arrest and search church also consisted of Islamic militants. Global council of Indian Christians(GCIC) decry the arrest and rhetoric against Christians in Kashmir. At this juncture,.the only hope for justice for Christians is from United Nations Human Rights commission .

Kashmiri police beat up Christians and force them testify against Pastors

Police in the Muslim-majority Kashmir Valley picked up seven converts who were recently baptized in All Saints Church in Srinagar,
The source, who requested anonymity, said police beat the converts and asked if Christians had given them money for their conversion. Most of the converts were from Budgam district, about 18 miles from Srinagar, and pastors there fearful of being arrested were in hiding
