Bishops with chief minister of Utter Pradesh-India
Lucknow: The Catholic bishops of Uttar Pradesh on April 21 called on Yogi Adiyanath, the new chief minister of the northern Indian state.“It was primarily a courtesy visit,” Father Donald de Souza, spokesperson of Lucknow diocese, informed.Yogi Adityanath, a Hindu ascetic, became chief minister of India’s most populous state on March 19 after the Bharatiya Janatya Party won the state assembly elections.

RSS wants anti-conversion law in Jharkhand
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is planning to ask the BJP government in Jharkhand to bring a law to ban religious conversions in the state.
RSS state unit chief Jaggnath Sahi announced on Sunday that he will discuss with Chief Minister of Mr. Jharkhand Arjun Munda on the need of formulating a law to ban conversion in the state.
