In Pakistan, Hindu student asked to apologise for celebrating Holi in university campus
New Delhi: A post is going viral on social media claiming that a Hindu student was forced to submit a written apology over celebrating Holi on the campus of a Pakistani university.The alleged incident took place at Sindh University Jamshoro.
On November 24 Pakistan’s provincial Assembly Sindh passed a law criminalising forced conversion. The bill recommends a five year punishment for perpetrators, whereas facilitators of forceful religious conversions will be handed a three year sentence.
