Act against BJP legislator for his provocative remarks against christians : Karnataka Governor

Karnataka Governor H R Bhardwaj has taken exception to the remarks of BJP MLA Prahlad Remani regarding Christianity and Christians in India.
In a letter to the Chief Minister, the Governor has said that he was shocked to learn that at the Independence Day function at Khanapur Tahsildar’s office in Belgaum district, Remani made inflammatory and provocative statements against Christianity and Christians.  read more »

Birur Pastor and believers detained

Birur- Karnataka
On the evening of August 13th, local police and BJP members raided a home prayer group led by IPC Pastor Dileep. He and ten members of his church in Birur,chickmaglur Dt,Karnataka , were taken from the meeting and detained at the Kadur Police Station for two hours. The members of Hindu radical outfit were using abusive and threatening language against the brothers and sisters as the police watched.  read more »
