Mumbai (AsiaNews) - Maoists to the first floor have been involved in the assassination of Hindu master, Laxmanananda Saraswati, whose murder has provided the pretext for the anti-Christian pogrom of 2008 in the district of Kandhamal (Orissa) and in other parts of India. The news comes from police sources, that have made it official on May 9.
The criminal section of the police in Orissa, which has made further investigations into the events of 2008, reported an accusation against at least seven people involved in the killing of Saraswati and his followers some of the ashram Jaleshpata, in of Tumudibandh in Kandhamal district.
