Spring of Hope Orphanage & Vocastional Arts Training Centre is an institution which also a school from L. Kg., to IV standard. This was started about 4 years ago. The founders of this Institution are : Basco & Nichodemus Nano Vyaso from Uganda and Kenya respectively. There were about 61 Siddi (Tribals) and Hindu children studying in this school.

On Wednesday, June 16, 2010, Deputy commissioner Sri M. R. Ravi who visited and inspected the institution instructed the Education Officer to close the school. Tahasildar, Sri Aziz Desai, Education Officer Sri Udayanayaka and Circle Inspector Sri Umesh Shetti were involved in the proceedings of closure of the school. This action was initiated on the complaint made by the Hindu radical groups.
