Eight vehicles belonging to Jesus with us Ministries burnt by Hindu Radicals in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
Seven vehicles of the church members parked in the compound of’ Jesus with us Church ‘in Mathikere, Hosur were set on fire by Hindu radicals on 22nd June 2010 at 11.30 pm. Radicals poured petrol and incinerated all vehicles. The fire gutted all these vehicles completely. The alert neighbours noticed the fire and immediately informed the pastor and subsequently Hosur police
about the arson .

A gospel meeting from 17th to 21st June was arranged by pastor L. Joseph of Jesus with us Church in Hosur on a private property. The main speaker of the meting was pastor Mohan C Lazarus of Jesus Redeems Church of Chennai. The VHP and Bajarangdal workers compelled the owner of the private property to close the meeting in spite of having necessary approvals from the district collector and the police department. The organisers were forced to shift the venue of the meeting to a near by school ground to avoid any untoward incident. The meeting was completed with police protection on 21st June 2010. The VHP had earlier called for a Hosur shut down on the 18th of June to disrupt the Christian meetings.

The burnt vehicles were used to transport the believers to the meeting place and back.
