Alphonsa Church in Delhi vandalised

New Delhi: The St. Alphonsa Church in Vasant Kunj here was vandalised by unidentified people on Monday. This is the fifth such incident since December.

The church doors were destroyed and the objects inside the building were strewn across the floor. This is the second time in a month that the same church has been vandalised.

Earlier in January, a minor fire was reported from a church in Rohini in Outer Delhi. The Christmas crib placed outside the building was completely charred.

In December, St Sebastian Church was partially destroyed in fire, while stones were pelted at a church near South Delhi.
