US Conference of Catholic Bishops declares November 26th the day of prayer for Persecuted Christians

VENICE, FL (WWSB) - The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee has declared that Sunday, November 26th is the day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians.
The Diocese of Venice will have Bishop Frank J. Dewane lead mass at 11:00 a.m. at Epiphany Cathedral. .
“This is an important initiative to raise awareness about the plight of Christians who face a daily struggle to survive while also encouraging the support of non-profit Catholic organizations that render much needed aid.”
The USCCB works with non-profit Catholic organizations to provide aid to Christian and other religious minorities throughout the Middle East
