Please discuss here the issues and concerns about persecution in Orissa - India
Mon, 21/12/2009 - 11:07am Stay strong in the Lord and
Stay strong in the Lord and wait for Him! Be strenghtened in your faith and don't lose heart! He is goind to bring you out of the pit of destruction as He brought Daniel out of the lion's den. Keep worsiping Him, when Paul and Silas worshiped all the place shook and the prison gates opened (Acts16:25-30). I believe many of those who persecute you will turn to Jesus as they see your boldness and firmness in faith as Paul did when Stephen was executed (Acts7:58)- "many will see and hear, and will trust in the Lord"

'IT SHOULD BE BLOCKED BY LAW..... We are living in this modern world,..'
Nice logic Put up there with Brandy Gin n whisky... but lemme ask you what would you prefer ? a desi Toddy? or a Firangi Brew?(sumthing like chivas regal)... Now that is what im saying about .. if u accept the Firangi Brew. it means U'v had the taste of it.. now if u stick on to your toddy .. its simply means that you are blinded ...
[Apologies to all who r hurt , for makin reference of religion to liquor]
You speak with a kinda modern outlook.. which is good .. modernization calls in liberalization .. please look at the world around you, it is loosening its fist !
But your comment [IT SHOULD BE BLOCKED BY LAW] seems to reflect the image that you have a cut throat Orthodox clad in a seemingly modern skin...
Let LAW BLOCK it, if it is forceful conversion ... Dude .. indian constitution profess Freedom of Religion ! I hope that if at least there is a speck of modern out look (with values) in your perspective ; you would not prefer to be called a Brahmina , Kshatriya or Shudra .. jus because you have been born into it ... in this Modern world it is not FATE that descide wht you are but your act that win you the name Brahmina even if U r born a Shudra !!! (Hope u get the Gist of my statement)
--To My Friend who said--
"He lives even today"Just prove it.
Jus look at the world population of Abrahamic religion ... its more than 50% ... just 2000 years , young compared to Most religion ; Christianity is 33% of world population ..it just started from a Wooden Cross of Salvation & 12 Disciples ! ... No religion has ever be Persecuted like Christianity in the whole History .. but still ...
My friend - listen to this -
If it is from GOD .. No one can Stop .. else nothing can Build it !!!
What more proof you want ?
And to those who say that Forceful conversion is done in india ... you know math ??? its been 2000 years .. still we are
Fri, 05/12/2008 - 3:28am More Than Conquerors
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
“ For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”[c]
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Yes, you are MORE than conquerors, many others will turn to Christ because of your lives which are the best testimonies for His love,mercy and forgiveness within you and among you.
Your brethren in Christ from Bulgaria are supporting you in prayer!

Thu, 04/12/2008 - 8:17pm Clemency for convicted for church blasts
Global council of Indian Christians (GCIC) welcomes the landmark judgment in the church last case and congratulates the investigation police officials for their meticulous work in exposing the conspiracy of the perpetrators. Global council of Indian Christians(GCIC) urges the government to extend clemency for the 11 persons awarded death penalty. : Christians believe in the pure gift of life for some, not a weapon of brutal murder for others. We will approach the president of India and governor with clemency petition for the 11 persons awarded death penalty, on receipt of the judgment.
In a landmark verdict, a special court on Saturday awarded death sentence to 11 persons, life imprisonment to 12 and acquitted four others of a banned outfit in the sensational serial church blasts in 2000. They were charged with the offences like waging war against India, sedition, causing disturbance to the communal harmony, causing mischief by fire in the places of worship, transporting and causing of explosions and endangering human life and conspiracy to perpetrate the above offenses. We appeal to the Union of states of India,especially the Orissa government to dispense justice for the Christians martyred for ther faith and suffered loss of properties and churches
Thu, 04/12/2008 - 8:19am VHP leader Togadia's hate speech motivational tool for terrorist
Terrorists were shown footage of Modi, Togadia
NEW DELHI: Terrorists who carried out the Mumbai attacks were shown video footage of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi and VHP's Praveen Togadia "spitting venom" against jihad and Pakistan as motivational tools, arrested terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasav has told his interrogators.
Ajmal's interrogation report says the terrorists were also shown footage of the "Gujarat carnage and atrocities on Muslims" in India to rouse religious indignation.
Ajmal's interrogators said he had received rigorous training and had been primed for fidayeen attacks. He and others in the training camps were subjected to severe beatings by their trainers to develop resistance against any kind of interrogation.
Ajmal also revealed the names of nine other terrorists who carried out the Mumbai attacks and were killed in various places. "The nine names revealed by Ajmal reflects that the youngest fidayeen was 20 years old while the eldest was 28.
They were identified by Ajmal as Soheb (20), Chota Abdul Rahman (21), Umar (22), Abu Ali (23), Fahadullah (24), Ismail Khan (25), Bada Abdul Rahman (25), Abu Akasha (26), Umair (28). Fahadullah was crippled in one hand," a cop who interrogated Ajmal said.
The terror group which attacked Mumbai was imparted training at various camps and in different groups. Before assembling near Karachi, the 10 terrorists had never met each other, Ajmal claimed. They met for the first time in September.
Ajmal said Lashkar's Zakiur Rahman alias Chachu was their mentor but several others were involved in imparting training at various stages. He named some of them as Mufti Sayeed, Fahadullah, Ustad Abdul Rahman and Abu Anus who gave them maritime training and taught use of weapons and grenades. Investigators said that of those named by Ajmal as tutors, many had retired from Pakistan Army and were imparting training at Lashkar camps in coordination with ISI.
The terrorists had to undergo a long and rigorous training schedule before heading for Mumbai. Ajmal said their first training session had started in December last year. He told interrogation that their training was intensified after the assassination of PPP leader Benazir Bhutto in Rawalpindi on December 27.
Thu, 04/12/2008 - 1:26am Word of encouragment for my persecuted brethren
While I was in prayer for all this horrible terror toward christians in India/Orissa I received this word from the Lord (Ps40:1-3) :
1 I waited patiently for the LORD;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
3 He has put a new song in my mouth—
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the LORD.
Mon, 27/10/2008 - 4:09pm HE HE HE
Hello, it is really funny and crazy to get back to the stone ages, fighting for something which is a myth. Ignorant politicians and religious people making others life for miserable, everyone stands for own group and talks inside the shell. Why some one wants to convert other in to your belief? is it possible to take others soul along with you when you go to the so called heaven/hell? Everyone targets others as the culprits but who is right and who is not wrong as far as this religious matters concerns? its like brandy insults whisky or gin....! So people should realize, conversion is not a good idea to go to heaven, IT SHOULD BE BLOCKED BY LAW. Let others live and die with their or lifestyles and beliefs. We are living in this modern world, but people feel more to get back to the Stone Age...! Many of the converting magicians need psychological treatment and may even need shock treatment.
Tue, 28/10/2008 - 6:02pm Reply to HE HE HE
Dear friend, Which is a myth? Nobody in the world can deny the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a great historical truth. He lived on this earth in flesh and blood. Whether you like it or not, accept it or not Truth is always Truth. Jesus died on the cross for your sins and my sins. He died for each and every soul. He died and rose again. He lives even today. Christ is the only Saviour. We can get salvation only through Him. We are born once and die once. So after our death where will we spend our etenity? There is life after death. Christianity helps a person to enjoy real peace and joy which this modern world cannot give you. You taste and see that the Lord is good. If you call upon His name, He will surely reveal Himself to you. He loves you. Get one Bible and start reading it as soon as possible. Then you will see that its not a myth but its a great history book where you can find great truths.

Tue, 02/03/2010 - 7:03pm Sri Rama Sena a goonda outfit
Shocking news…… The same police those encouraged them to attack on minorities are arresting now? Now day’s goondas are busy with inventing new organizations every day, then they can give religious cover to run their underworld illegal activities. I think, if Karnataka politicians are not interfere on this issue, police will arrest few more members soon.
