Forgiveness
"Lord, make all the bad people good," a young boy prayed, "and then make all the good people nice." Unfortunately, in this imperfect world, sometimes we have to live around people who aren't always good, and other times we have to live around generally good people who aren't always nice. We've all been in situations where we feel we've been unjustly treated or misjudged, and we almost certainly will be again.
At times like that, it's good to remember that we, too, haven't always been good or nice. "Judge not, that you be not judged," the Bible says, "for with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you." That should make us a little more thoughtful about our attitudes toward others, especially those who have wronged us, for exactly what we give will be exactly what we receive. "Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things."
It's not in your human nature to forgive. It has to be Jesus working in and through you.
Perhaps you feel that you have to do something about the wrong that's been done to you, to hurt others as they've hurt you, but don't do it; don't bear a grudge. Nothing will sour your disposition and ruin your happiness like letting bitterness creep into your heart. Beware "lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled." It is far better to forgive and forget that injustice you've suffered. Pity and love and pray for those who hurt you, and then leave matters in God's hands.
God knows all about it, and His Word speaks with finality regarding our forgiving those who wrong us, no matter how unfair it all seems. Jesus said, "If you do not forgive men their [wrongs], neither will your Father forgive your [wrongs]," and "My heavenly Father also will [punish] you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his [wrongs]."
You can't do that yourself; it's not in your human nature to forgive. It has to be Jesus working in and through you. Tell Him about it, ask Him to cleanse your heart of any animosity or bitterness that may be festering, and turn the situation over to Him completely—and don't take it back the next time you think about that person or situation. Only then is He able to go to work on your behalf, to heal your spirit and help you move on. This usually isn't what we feel like doing, but it's God's solution.
If you've been hurt, He waits to help you, He wants to help you, and He will. But you must set things in motion. You must forgive.

How can one love one self if one subjects himself/herself to rape abuse, manipulation or threats?
How can you love God as "yourself" if you can't even love yourself ? Christ did not preach for christians to subject themselves to abuse.
Forgiveness is a decision to hand over matters to God, it does not mean you should return to the abuser and continue t take in repeated abuse again and again.
Example, If a pastor rapes a woman in his church, then tells the woman "forgive, dont be bitter", and then repeats his rape again and again on that woman, that is not what christ intended.
Anyone going through abuse, must confront their abuser in truth. What is truth? Truth is to tell them "STOP you are abusing me. Stop it". Truth is love. and Love is Truth. How can you respect your body or mind that is the temple of the Holy spirit if you constantly allow someone to defile your body or your soul through evil words or deeds? Such doors must be closed.
God has instituted authorities, police, and other institutions to stop evil doers. Many "Christians" in church go around abusing others psychologically, spiritually and try to muzzle their victims by saying "shhh, be silent, dont speak back, forgive forgive" , as a means to continue on their abuse.
Forgiveness does not mean Forget, Forgiveness does not mean return, forgiveness does not mean constantly taking in abuse. One can easily quote the scripture out of context and say "see Jesus did it THOSE DAYS", well what is Jesus telling you to do right now about that abuser? Report him to police? Asking that abusive pastor to STOP? Silence is not an option.
Christians are called to STOP abuse and confront Evil and defeat it. Christ confronted his abusers and called them "vipers" "sons of satan" "white washed tombs" and even questioned Paul from heaven "Why do you persecute me"
So the answer is, SAY NO to abuse. No matter what. NO to bullying, NO to manipulation, NO to sexual abuse at home or at church , NO at their face straight. That is called Dignity. AND DO NOT RETURN to the defiler again, if you do that, you are going back like Israelite wanting to go back to egypt.
Its time Indian Christians learn to grow some Spiritual authority, psychological toughness, and a spine.
One's salvation does not depend on wether you confronted your abuser, and asked him to stop, it depends on wether you accepted christ as Lord and died to yourself allowing Christ to live in you.
Christ is truth. So speak the truth at abusers and set them free by telling them "YOU ARE ABUSIVE! STOP IT IN JESUS NAME".
That is truth. And truth shall set people free.

Kindly prayer over Glen Aroza who has been detained by the Taiwan Government. Glen is a
captain of ship TOSA; while sailing on high seas,on april 17,2009 he has been accused of collition; fishing boat 'No. 86' which was capsized and sank and TOSA ship had passed close by the 'No. 86' an hour prior it's sinking. But TOSA had not collided. Government of Taiwan has not got any clue of this collision but yet Glen is detained and the investigations are going on. 11 months are over, yet the government is concluding the matter.
